This bench is crafted from a single slab of amazing rosewood. This particular piece of rosewood (dalbergia sisso) is native to northern India however it is grown in Arizona as a street tree, where I discovered and salvaged the lumber. This is the only example of a true rosewood growing in the continental United States. A beautiful conversation piece.
